Skylar took my college graduation photos and was absolutely incredible! Throughout the entire process from booking to receiving photos, Skylar was terrific! She was very quick with her communication and prior to the shoot, even sent a Guide to Grad Photos booklet with suggestions of items to bring to the shoot from extra makeup to props with examples from previous shoots. the process
Upon reaching out, I'll send you a link to my calendar with remaining availability for your semester. From there, go in and select the date that works best for you! I'll get back with you on any questions you may have and confirm your package choice.
To secure the spot you selected in my calendar, I will send you our contract and deposit invoice. From there, you'll have 48 hours to complete both to secure your date!
Now for the fun part! After all the dotted lines are signed, I'll send over my famous Guide to Grad Photos to make your planning process seamless! If you booked a package that includes complimentary confetti, I will get with you on which color you would like!

what sets you apart from other photographers?
I have a vast experience working in sports photography, specifically for the NFL, Alabama Athletics, Georgia Football, Stanford Softball, and more! When I stepped away from sports to focus on portraits and weddings, I found myself using the skills I used working with professional and D1 athletes with my clients:
1. Movement inspires me. I thrive off of implementing dynamic posing and prompting in my sessions which allows my clients to loosen up and simply be themselves.
2. I know how the body should move, so I can recognize what looks stiff and unnatural. You can tell when someone is uncomfortable in a photo, and that is something I want to avoid at all costs. If I see your body not reacting to something I have you do the way I want it to, I will adapt it to compliment you and your body the best!
3. Athletes are athletes, not models. The average graduate is normal, not a model. Between working with athletes, grads, couples, and everyone in between, I have nailed down the language and poses to get you the best photos of yourself possible.

how many locations can I fit in my session?
You are allowed as many locations as we can fit in the session time. I ask you your location list ahead of time so I can schedule out how much time we can spend at each one with commute times.
I usually tell my grads:*
The Classic: 4 close-together landmarks on campus (UA: Denny Chimes, President's Mansion, University Blvd., BDS).
The Deluxe: 4 close-together landmarks on campus and one further on-campus location (UA: All listed on 'The Classic' + sorority house, college, athletic facility, etc.).
The Premium: 4 close-together landmarks on campus and one off-campus location (UA: All listed on 'The Classic' + bar, restaurant, rooftop, etc.).
*These are not set in stone. I want to know everything you have in mind, so I am more than happy to break away from the normal places!

will you Photoshop my images to hide any unwanted spots, wrinkles, etc.?
I firmly believe that we are all beautiful in our own ways. I do not Photoshop permanent parts of your body, wrinkles, freckles, moles, etc.. I would be happy to edit out bruises, a zit, a spot on your dress, etc.!

what happens if there is rain on the forecast?
Weather, especially in Alabama, is super unpredictable, so I am always watching if I have a session coming up. I will message you about 24 hours before your session to tell you that there is rain on the radar and that we might have to reschedule. I do not make the final call about rescheduling until at least 6 hours before your session.
